Newark Youth Ministry: Educate, Uplift, and Inform
The Newark Youth Ministry is dedicated to educating, uplifting, and informing all youth from ages 5 to 19 through spiritual activities, involvement, and events. Our goal is to provide a space where young people can build and sustain a stronger faith in the Lord.
Ministry Activities and Events
Our ministry provides a variety of engaging events throughout the year to help our youth grow spiritually and connect with others:
Youth Weekly Bible Study
We host a weekly Bible study on Thursdays.
Monthly Youth Devotional
On the 4th Friday of each month, youth can participate in a spiritual devotional, enjoy a variety of games, and fellowship with other members.
Northeastern Youth Conference
This premier weekend event has been a cornerstone for young people for over 55 years. It brings together youth from congregations across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts for biblical education and spiritual enrichment.
Collegiate Heart
This ministry provides support to college students from our congregation by delivering care packages during the fall and spring semesters.
Electrifying Easternaires
This is a youth singing ministry for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are interested in singing.
Youth Trips
We sponsor trips for our youth to attend other youth conferences and go on fun outings to amusement parks or educational trips to museums and aquariums.
Back to School BBQ
This annual event is dedicated to encouraging the youth of Newark to have a successful academic year. We provide a variety of school supplies to help them get a good start.
